Jesus said, “if you love me, you’ll keep my commandments.” Obedience to Christ flows from love for Christ. And those commandments lead us to love God, love one another, and love our neighbor. And John reminds us: we love because He first loved us. The Great Commission is the Great Launching of the church with the message of Christ’s love.
