We've all heard the saying "don't be so heavenly minded that you're of no earthly good". When upon first hearing, it sounds like pretty good advice, but the Bible actually tells us the opposite is true. We can be so earthly minded that we're of no earthly OR heavenly good, but being heavenly minded doesn't cause us to check out of the realities of this life, it helps us to deal with them from a better perspective.
